Story 1 - Struggle between two factions 234420combatdechevaux

One day, in a village, the old chief came to die and the two best fighters began to dispute the succession. The first said he was the strongest of all, he had never been afraid of anything, and you should choose it for those reasons. The second stated that he too had never been afraid, and besides he could talk to birds: it was he who should be chosen. Each standard had its supporters in the village, the discussions became more and more animated, more and more violent, and the dean of the tribe decided to intervene before the two clans (good and bad) come out arms.

The old standard brought another warrior, who fought the best, and asked him to defeat two of his young son, as soon as possible. Then he turned to the two contenders and said he would appoint the head would be the first to knock one of his son. Both stallions galloping disappeared immediately, and the rest of the herd stayed to wait until the decision is done. The hours passed, and when the sun disappeared behind the trees, they saw the two warriors back together, each holding a son of the great leader.

Dean then decided, the next morning, give them a new trial. He took them to the river where the current was strongest, the most tumultuous and said they had an hour until the sun reaches its zenith, to catch the biggest fish possible. Both stallions plunged immediately in front of the herd encouraged by watching them struggle in the waves. But when the hour had passed, they came out again across the water, with catches that proved to be perfectly equal in size and weight. It was again impossible to make a decision.

The same evening, the Dean took them to a place where two huge apple trees grew. They said they had an hour until sunset, to pick as much fruit as possible without dropping a single down. Both stallions climbed into the trees and began to pick apples in the cries of the two clans, throwing the fruit into large leaves in the trees. The sun went down, the soil full of apples were carefully examined to arrive at the sad conclusion that the leaves weighed the same weight and contain the same number of fruit. This time the dean confessed overcame: he had more tests to pass and he still did not know who should be leader.

Discussions between the two factions resumed at dawn brighter than ever, and the fighting would begin. But at that moment, an old man appeared in the middle of the crowd. The herd bowed, recognizing at once the embodiment of Tupa Spirit of Good. The god first spoke to Dean, thanking him for his efforts, but also making it out that he had forgotten what was perhaps the most important events, that of wisdom. So he invited the two suitors to follow him for a decision can finally be taken.

Following the god, they walked for hours, not knowing where they went, until Tupa leaned down and picked up something. He turned, his shoe stretched out to them and told them to watch carefully for the butterfly was there. Because it was a magical butterfly, which could be viewed only by horses wise. Tupa therefore asked the first warrior if he saw the insect, and the standard of evil answered yes. Tupa turned to the second standard, welfare and asked the same question. The standard length remained silent and ended by saying he saw nothing. Tupa smiled and said that he was the leader, because there was actually nothing to do with his hand and he had the wisdom to stick to the strict truth even if it went against him.

He was then appointed head of his whole kingdom, bringing peace to the people by his wisdom, his justice and his brave spirit. But it was not over ... The warrior defeated in this last event that was ridiculous attempt to assassinate the warrior well, by hitting a few bites ... The revolt broke out between two clans violently!
